BEADS • GEMSTONES • BEADING SUPPLIES in Costa Rica

Beads and gemstones are not easy to find in Costa Rica hence not cheap also. Most craft stores sell only a limited amount of beads.

Zodiac has the BEST section in Costa Rica for CRYSTALS, GEMSTONES and Giodes at pretty good prices.  They're also the best store for BEADING things (also the cheapest I’ve found in Costa Rica) and they even have numerous FENG SHUI treatments (also GREAT prices)!!!  They also have all sorts of crafts classes for just 3,500-c/$7!!!  Only at their San Pedro and Cariari stores.

Sighting! NEW! Natural Cleaning Products at AutoMercado!

EXCITING NEWS!! For about the past month AutoMercado stores throughout Costa Rica have been carrying not one but TWO lineS of Natural Cleaning Products!

Ecos Earth Friendly Products from the U.S. (http:ecos.com)
Ecos says they did NO animal testing & uses NO animal products!
I saw: laundry detergent in various scents/types including for babies, liquid dishwashing detergent - even a dishwashER rinse aid!! The list they gave me said they also have a starch for ironing & a few other items I can't translate.

From what I could gather they don't do any animal testing but I couldn't find info on if they use any animal bi-products in their products.
I saw: all purpose cleaner, glass & surface cleaner, liquid dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, softener.


Here's a BIG THANX to AutoMercado for bringing more conscious products to mainstream Costa Rica & hopes of bringing more & more of their products here!!
