2011

SUNDAY - JULY 3, 2011  -  11am-4pm  -  GRECIA

A group of Grecians – both Gringos and Ticos – are planning the 1st ever

INDEPENDENCE DAY FIESTA in GRECIA
Food – Fun – Games!!!!

We Gringos want to share our Fourth of July festivities with all of our Tico friends and neighbors, while raising money for a local charity which discreetly helps those who need it.

This will be a day for fun, food and games. People are already making plans to attend and be a part of this All-American holiday – the excitement is starting to build!

SILENT AUCTIONS (Prize/Donations Still Needed):
We would appreciate your help. We are planning a Silent Auction which will showcase local merchandise and services – from retail establishments as well as cottage industries. Each item featured in our Silent Auction will give recognition to the company (or person) who donated the item. Donors are asked to provide the value of the item, so we will know what the minimum acceptable bid should be.

What items are we looking for? Household items, artwork of all sorts, handyman services, gardening lessons, Spanish or English lessons, automotive accessories, dance lessons, wine tasting, gourmet dinner for two, sewing lessons, games and much, much more – including whatever your specialty is! Nothing is too large or too small to be considered.

How does this benefit you? Naturally you will receive free advertising, but more importantly you will get that “good feeling” of knowing that you are helping your neighbors in Grecia who need a boost.

All profits going to:  Fundación de Amigos Griegos Hoy por Ti ( Foundation of Grecian Friends Today for You)

When you decide what item/s you want to donate, contact Kathy Tarble - Ktarble@gmail.com / 2-444-0638.  She is waiting to hear from you!

ENTRANCE: 1,500-colones/adults, 500-colones/kids 12 and under
(Food and beverage is additional)

WHERE:  Quinta Real just outside of Grecia

DIRECTIONS:  http://WebQuintarReal.com/croquis_de_lugar.html - San Francisco de San Isidro de Grecia
