Democrats Abroad of Costa Rica's - October Meeting


Democrats Abroad of Costa Rica counsel, Ted Hunt, Ph. D and law enforcement consultant, will speak on

“HOW SOCIAL MEDIA
PLAYED A PART IN THE ARAB SPRING UPRISING"

Learn how Twitter, Facebook and other forms of Social Media kicked off the Egyptian student movement which spread overnight even when the government had blocked many forms of communications/media!

WHEN:  Saturday, October 29 - 9:30am-noon

WHERE:  Holiday Inn in downtown San José, 3rd floor.

CONTRIBUTION:  5,000 colones for coffee break and meeting room.
