The Costa Rican school system is on a VERY different schedule than what most around the world are used to.

2012 SCHOOL SEASON

BEGINS - WEDNESDAY - FEBRUARY 8.

MID-TERM VACATION - JULY 2-13 (Mon.-Fri.)

ENDS - WEDNESDAY - DECEMBER 12 

(funny timing as school in CR end the "last day of the world as we know it" based on what some of the fear mongers say!!).

(in time we'll add the days off [which there seem to be a lot of - plus schools have their own times off])
