CHARITY NEEDS
NUEVA VIDA MISION
Judy Baumann is very active in helping the less fortunate/poor people in Alajuelita (just East of Escazu) - an impoverished community down by the river with a project called NUEVA VIDA MISSION (New Life Mission)!
Amongst their projects is making/serving lunch to more than 80-100 people every Thursday, so they also can always use food and $$$ donations for this. (no volunteers currently needed)
They're also giving scholarships to kids!
Their CURRENT NEEDS are
FOOD - ALWAYS - Rice, beans, salt, chicken buillion type, powdered drinks (Tang and such), ground beef, chicken (3 kilos/week), vegetables, oil, vinegar.
DONATIONS - $ / Money is ALWAYS needed!
TOYS, STUFFED ANIMALS, BOOKS (in Spanish), ART SUPPLIES+ - for a Day Care - everything that a child will need or use
CLOTHES and UNDER GARMENTS - for people of all ages - in good condition
SHOES and SOCKS - for people of all ages - in good condition
Judith can often come pick things up from you if you're in the area (she's located in Escazu).
