invites you to the 2nd Session of 

YOGARTE 2012

a Meeting of/combining Art, Yoga and Meditation IN the museum!

WHEN:  Saturday - April 21, 2012 - 10am-1pm

SCHEDULE:

9am  -  TOUR of the Museum

10am -  YOGA with Vanessa Cavallini and Nango Murray

11am -  MEDITATION (in Salon Dorado [the Golden Hall], an EXQUISIT room with its shining bronze bas-relief murals depicting Costa Rica’s history mural by French-Costa Rican artist, Luis Feron Parizot)

Noon  -  CONCERT - the Mystical sounds of Carlos "Tapado" Vargas (of the group Editus and Malpaí)

There will be 2 separate classes with yoga masters with Vanessa Cavallini ( http://VanessaCavallini.com ) and Nango Murray - one for beginners and one for people who are experienced at practicing yoga.

This event will be dedicated to Aliados Cambio Climatico ( http://Programaacc.com  /  http://Facebook.com/pages/Programa-ACC/134802999892592 ) and ecological action: planting trees (to help reduce Carbon Emissions) on behalf of participants in the activity.  , which focuses on planting trees in order to reduce carbon emissions.

Its goal is for visitors to embrace art and culture while supporting an environmental cause and creating awareness about climate change. 

This is a GREAT way to get to see the recently remodeled museum!!!

YogArt will take place about once every 2 months on Saturdays (sometimes they'll happen in Sabana Park!!)

WHERE:  Museo de Arte Costarricense (

MAC) - at the 

East/Este end of Sabana Park (across from SodaTapia.  Note that there is limited parking IN the park.

REQUIREMENT:  Bring your own Yoga Mat and a light blanket (for the meditation)

(*financial donations going towards the Tree Planting Program will be greatly appreciated)
