What:     Annual Sale for the Costa Rica chapter

Women's International League for Peace and Freedom - WILPF

Where:   Ciudad Cariari - Calle Miraflores - Condominios Cariari #10               
                (South and behind the Ramada Plaza Hotel, or
                approx. 400 meter South from the blue Souvenir Store

Why:       WILPF works to seek solutions for a lasting peace.  WILPF was created in 1915 to protest against WWI in The Hague, Netherlands. Their first international president, Jane Addams, became the first U.S. woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize.  Their work is as current as their support for Pakistani's 14 year old, Malala Yousafzai.
