ESCAZU EVENTS - December 7-9, '12 - Escazu's 164th Birthday Party

Through the creation of the Annual Agenda Cultural 2012 the Municipality implemented the first actions to boost the canton of Escazú as destination of cultural, artistic and ground rescue of traditions and values in Costa Rica.

Hence, we are inviting them to participate in the celebration of 164 years the city of Escazu:

Friday  -  December 7   -  5:30-9pmParade down the main street from Mundo del Pan - heading West to the park.  $ecognition of Escazuceños and Escazuceñas.  Presentation of the new CDs of marimba music recorded with marimba artist of Escazu and musicians from the Philharmonic Hall of Escazu and a stunning fireworks.  They will have tamales, chopped of chicasquil and agua dulce available for purchase.

Saturday  -  December 8   -  9am-11pmParque de Centro Escazú  -  1st Festival of Folklore interCantonal dedicated to Folk Association for their 34 years•años Escazu ceña promote folklore in Escazú. Details:

Sunday  -  December 9  -  9am-10pmDomingo Embrujado:  Big Play Inflatables FREE for all children, ,
Exhibition of trial bike, folk dancing classes, Children's Athletics Race. Masquerade and Cimarrona, Concert with youth rock bands, Grand Concert dance music. Great firework 10pm.
