It is NOT "all-you-can-eat" as most North Americans are used to "Buffet" meaning.  In Costa Rica - "Buffet" usually means what we call "Cafeteria-Style" - where everything is out and usually someone is serving you (or sometimes you are) and you choose what you want and how much (well, sometimes) - JUST ONE TRIP!!

Something called "Ejecutivo Especial" SHOULD be something that is pre-made (at least MOST of it) so it comes out fast so they can get back to work, instead of the often typical leisurely meal people OFTEN enjoy in Costa Rica!!

TGIFridays

My bud SunRa and I went to TGIFridays because I was CRAVING a HamBURGER and I like there's but at 7,650-colones - and were at first balking at how expensive that was (that's OVER $15 for a burger) - TILL - we saw how BIG the burger was, PLUS it came with fries PLUS soup or salad (their salad was Romaine with Caesar Dressing - not bad!!  That's what I'd get next time though the soup of the day was pretty tasty) - BUT - that price INCLUDED the 23% in taxes!!  We ended up leaving VERY satisfied and would do it again (extra $$ permitting)
