Moving to Costa Rica - with KIDS? How to Pick the Best Area to Live in with Kids.

LOTS of people often just throw the question out there on message boards/groups - "Where's the best place to live in Costa Rica with kids?"

To me, there are LOTS more questions that need to be thought out/answered first - LOTS more DETAILS to look at before picking the BEST place for your kids to live (as well as you of course) to help them to grow/flourish the MOST - since there are SOOOO MANY different types of families out there!  There's literally something for EVERYONE!

Some of the questions I'd sit back and look at before putting it out there are:
Are you wanting your kids to still get to socialize/interact with other kids?  Nationals?  Other gringo kids?  Privileged kids?  Religious kids?  Regular/every day kids?  Are you ok with your kids playing with kids that play violent video games, have fake guns, etc.?  Or do you want them spending more time reading - or doing more cultural things?  Are they brainiacs or are you UN-Schooling them (to me THIS sounds the BEST IF I had kids these days!!)?  Are they more "Evolved"/Golden/Crystal/Indigo Kids?

What about you?
Are y'all End of the World/the economy types?  Funky/alternative thinking/Earth Mamma/Daddy/Hippie/Vegan/Vegetarian/Raw Foodie/Conscious types?  Spiritual types?  Angry/the world sucks types?  I hate America types?  Are you fine with sticking your kids in front of a tv eating GMO processed/fast foods - or are they eating more consciously?  Do you not trust the world "out there" so want to keep your kids close to you?  Corporate Exec types?  Traditional Religious types?

If you're not real clear on what you're seeking - well, lets just say - I find a LOT of people WASTING a LOT of their precious time (and their kids) trying to weed groups out which could potentially lead to confusing your kids as they go from one group/family to the next (this could definitely effect potential abandonment issues).

Just something to think about eh???
