Thursday - AUGUST 15, 2013 - VEHICLE RESTRICTIONS in San Jose, Costa Rica are NOT active because it's Dia de Madre•Mothers Day. 

NOTE that the Government and banks will be closed, MANY businesses WILL be closed and if a restaurants is open, most likely it WILL be PACKED•BUSY!!! 

It's one of the many NATIONAL HOLIDAYS which means a mandatory day off for employees OR if they are working, you get to pay them DOUBLE PAY!!!!

People take this Mother's Day thing VERY SERIOUSLY in Latin countries and Costa Rica is no exception to that!!
