 WHAT IS WATSU MASSAGE??
To ME, with the right practitioner, it's one of THE MOST AMAZING forms of MASSAGE I've EVER experienced!!  It's basically a form of Shiatsu Massage that takes place in warm water.  In a way, it's kind of what I imagine being in the womb would be like - this "safe" floating in water - in a protected space!!  Your body just floats and is free!!  Free of the constraints we've put on our bodies - of the rigidity and control (when you TRUST the person giving you Watsu)!

The practitioners gently guides you in your own sort of Water Ballet!!

For a big gal like me, I float pretty well but it does not matter as all practitioners I've found that do WATSU either use floaty type devices like in this picture, or "noodles" or some sort of a life jacket.
