FYI - These were SOOOO YUMMMM!!! I'm not normally a fan of Tico Tamales, but based on MY taste buds, these were THE BEST I've had in Costa Rica!! LOTS of "stuff" in them!!! Each bite seemed to have a different taste!

Because so many friends have been saying they wanted to learn how to make this Tico Christmas tradition, Benjamin and Pablo are inviting you to join them at Joanna’s Eats NEW HOME to teach YOU how to make REAL TICO TAMALES and let you get YOUR hands all covered with masa and learn about this Latin family Christmas ritual!!!

the Tico word for 2 tamales wrapped together - so you are making 4
