PRE-PURCHASE BUS TICKETS
In High Season, many buses to popular destinations sell out DAYS/WELL in advance. When advanced tickets are available, he can go and Pre-Purchase your ticket so you have a reserved seat.  If advanced tickets are NOT available, he can send someone to stand in line for you, pick you up and you'll be higher up in the line to ensure you getting a seat!! 

Coming to Costa Rica with just a one-way ticket?
Costa Rica REQUIRES that ALL people entering Costa Rica have PROOF that they are leaving Costa Rica within 90 days. 

Airlines are REQUIRED to enforce it or risk a $10,000 fine and last minute if you purchase a one-way ticket through them, it WILL cost you HUNDREDS of dollars/even more than $1,000 on a one-way airline ticket.
Save yourself LOTS of money but purchasing a bus ticket with that proof (NOTE that some people will try to sell you an "Open-Ended Ticket" which is good for up to a year. Is that proof you are leaving Costa Rica WITHIN 90 days???? NOT!!! SOME of those people are only getting 30 day Tourist Visa Stamps in their passport. Do you want that to happen to you? [note you can change the date on that ticket with a 3 day advance and it STILL IS good for up to a year - but it has a stamped date on it with your proof!!])

For both of these services, Abner can go and purchase the ticket, scan it and email or mail it to you and then pick you up at the airport and either take you to your hotel (included in the price is up to a 15 mile radius) or the bus station - or hire him to take care of your transfer to destinations further.
