Blooms is a social group of women that gets together monthly at 9:30am on the
LAST TUESDAY of each month - usually at members homes. Most members live in the following general areas:
Grecia, Sarchi, La Garita, Atenas, and Alajuela.
Blooms is short for "Bloom Where You Are Planted". Their goal is to provide support and friendship to English-speaking women new (or not so new) to Costa Rica.
Membership is FREE.

SPANISH CLASSES
Affordable Fun Group SPANISH CLASSES for Beginners & Advanced (Intermediate coming). They have tons of fun, take cultural field trips and actually study Spanish! The teaching covers so many different things like conversation, dictation, reading out loud, book work and cultural things.

The professor “Ema”nuel is a young law student who I hear really knows his stuff!
WHEN: Tuesdays and Thursdays
. . . . . Beginning - 8:30-10
. . . . . Advanced - 10-11:30
WHERE: GRECIA (Barrio Latino) - Sol de Justicia Church - A the “mall” • Maxi Palí - Go to the right around the back of the mall. Take a LEFT as you exit and go uphill. Turn RIGHT at the first road (it’s a gravel road). Pass 2 houses and the next driveway is the entrance to the church’s parking lot. Drive in and the building (it doesn't look like your "typical" church) with 2 stories is where the class is located - 2nd floor - Fellowship Hall.
COST: only $5 a class. Anyone can join in at any time (even tourists)
