Drinking water in Costa Rica isn't really great.  With that said - MOST government•city owned processed water throughout the world is not really great and in Costa Rica, at least in MANY areas it's "OK" to drink water from the tap if you're not into healthy living (heck - at least Costa Rica has NOWHERE near as much toxic things as the U.S. does - like strychnine+++) - but I prefer something MUCH natural or
healthier when I can (often $$ is generating that!!). 

MANY studies are now saying that the regular bottled water you get in the market is NO BETTER (or at least VERY little) for you than plain old tap water!!

Don't need a 5 gallon bottled delivered?
PeriMercado has a version of this water called "Agua Pura" though it more $ and it's a 2-1/2 liter bottle (the softer plastic ones which many believe are not as healthy for us).
