DONATIONS NEEDED - Money is needed to buy School Books for rural communities - for the Women's Club of Costa Rica

Over the past 4 years the Women's Club of Costa Rica - WCCR.org has been supporting many rural schools with a set of 4 text books per child published by La Nación.

The cost of one set of books is just ¢6,000 ($12-ish).

To date, they have 26 such schools on their list (see Lista de Escuelas) and the necessary funds have been collected to support the donation of books to 1,040 children.

They were approached by yet another small school in need of help - near Puriscal: Escuela Bajos de la Legua - with 31 children from 1st to 6th grade.

They do not have the funds to help this school, so they're appealing to all of you, wondering you would be able to help with a donation. Ideally, we need to find ¢186.000/$350-ish, preferably before the new school year starts on 10th February (but they have a constant need so .
