In honor of the

and V-Day
(a global movement to end violence against women and children worldwide)VDay.org/about#.UwZQZEJdXiM
the V-Team at the University for Peace
presents a special performance of

The VAGINA MONOLOGUES
14 monologues (12 in English and 2 in Español)

WHAT ARE THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES?
You've heard about it but haven't been yet?  The Vagina Monologues are not for everyone as it WILL make those uncomfortable with their body and the subject steer away from it - yet those are some of the perfect gals TO see it (note from Vicki!!) to help them come into their body/power!!!

For those unsure of what the Vagina Monologues are it's an AWESOME and HILARIOUS series of monologues read by women.  Each one deals with an aspect of the feminine experience, touching on matters such as sex, love, rape, menstruation, female genital mutilation, masturbation, birth, orgasm, the various common names for the vagina, or simply as a physical aspect of the body. A recurring theme throughout the piece is the vagina as a tool of female empowerment, and the ultimate embodiment of individuality.
