BUS PRICES INCREASING 5% on many bus lines around Costa Rica

 

Bus Fares are increasing between 5-45-colones - BUT so far it's only effecting 134 buses nationwide because it was reported that over 95% of them are not current with their CAJA•social security contributions, some unsettled labor law issue and/or Hacienda/tax obligations. 

If you have someone NOT on the list increasing the price, you can report them to Autoridad Reguladora de Servicios Públicos (ARESEP) at 800-027-3737

I hear there's an "App" for Costa Rica bus routes called “Mi Ruta” for sale for your SmartPhone via Google Play Store (I'll try it when I get back and report on that).
