FAMILIES • PARENTS • KIDS•CHILDREN • TEENS • YOUTH - List of Resources on Where • How FAMILIES • PARENTS • KIDS•CHILDREN • HOME SCHOOLERS • PLAYDATES can Connect. Most are in English for Expats &/or Foreigners Living &/or Working in Costa Rica

Raising kids in a foreign country - especially if you don't speak the language or are Home Schooling - can't be an easy thing - so I'm creating this page to share different groups on Facebook where parents & kids can connect.

Families with Children in Central Valley, Costa Rica
This group is for families with young children who live(d) in the Central Valley (or plan to move here in the near future). The group provides a place to ask questions related to family life, especially as it relates to adjusting to living in Costa Rica. We often organize play dates, celebrate holidays or birthdays, and ask where-to-find or how-to questions.
To become a member, send a description of your family to one of the admins, including where you live and the age(s) of your child(ren).

West Side Playgroup ☕️
Moms and kids meeting up around the Escazu - Santa Ana area for coffee and playdates!

Heredia Kids: Time to Play!
A place for Heredia families to plan play dates.

Families with Children in Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Inspired by the group, Families with Children in the Central Valley, this is an English-speaking forum for families with children living in Guanacaste. It is a place to share ideas and ask questions related to family life.

WorldSchoolers Traveling Through Costa Rica
Because Costa Rica is such a popular destination with WorldSchoolers (as it should be!) I created this group as a way to create meet up events and share information while you are here. I live here permanently with my daughter and we can host... let the fun begin!

Families on the Move
We are a group for families who are doing or contemplating long-term (6 months or more of continuous travel) international travel. Our aim is to share, connect, learn from each other, support each other, and generally chat about travel. We welcome new members -- simply drop a quick message to one of our admins introducing yourself.
If you are planning on doing long-term international travel, then your anticipated launch date must be within the next 1-2 years.
There are many types of families within our group, and we are very inclusive. However, solo adults and couples who have yet to have children are not admitted. Our basic definition of a family is at least one parent/guardian travelling, or contemplating travel, as a family, with at least one child, biological or otherwise

Please do NOT leave a anonymous post if you desire a response and do not leave bogus/unrelated to Costa Rica spam responses (whereby creating REALLY BAD karma for yourself and those you love!!!)
