VOTER REGISTRATION•Help Fill Out Ballots
Training Workshop

at Giana Wayman’s lovely penthouse apartment in Escazú (she hosted one 2 years ago that was lots of fun).  She will also provide a delicious lunch!

WHEN:

10:30am-1:30pm (includes lunch time)

WHERE:
Giana Wayman’s condo in Escazu (up near Le Monastere)

WHY:

We need to get ready for our

Drop-in Voting Center at the Holiday Inn on
Saturday, September 29

where we will help people fill out the FWAB, Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (the FWAB is the “generic” ballot for people living abroad who did not receive their state ballot).

It is important that you come, even if you attended the workshop 2 years ago.  You will meet the rest of the team.

At the Drop-in Voting Center 4 years ago we were swamped, so

They NEED LOTS of Volunteers! 

This workshop will help you get ready to help people fill out their FWAB. 

They also need people with laptops on September 29

because some folks don’t know if they are registered to vote, so we need to be able to check that, and help them fill out the FPCA, too, if they are not registered to vote.

Please REGISTER for this workshop as soon as possible.  

Let Nelleke know if you need transportation, and from where, so we can hook you up with someone who is driving, or who wants to share a taxi.

(COMMENTARY FROM VICKI:  For those Americans you know that say they're no longer voting since they've left the U.S. - ask them if they're currently receiving Medicare or Social Security as BOTH of these are SERIOUSLY being threatened!!!!  So if they don't vote and they were to loose either, they'd have NO ONE to point fingers at/blame but THEMSELVES)
