Does Costa Rica do DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME?

So, Costa Rica does NOT do Daylight Savings Time (MEGA BOOOOO being that my body is a Solar Panel that THRIVES on sunlight!!!  And it STILL hasn't gotten used to the sun coming up between 5-5:45 A.-Friken-M. and goes down often between 5-6 P.M. pretty much year-round [what I don't get is it seems to stay light longer in Panama AND Nicaragua????  Anyone know what that's all about???])!!!

So, why the heck am I spending time writing this blurb??

Well - it DOES effect some of us - especially those that watch U.S. tv stations, and THAT WILL change (oh, and especially that day - if we have anyone flying in as chances are REAL GOOD the time of their flight WILL change - so REMIND them to call in the day before to avoid any confusions!!).

So that means if you're getting your tv programs from Florida (as MANY in Costa Rica are getting) - instead of Florida being 2 hours ahead of us as it is IN Daylight Savings Time, they'll ONLY be 1 hour ahead of us!!  So "The Young and the Restless" will now start at 11:30am instead of 10:30am!!!

START DATES:
STANDARD TIME STARTS
"Fall Back" - set your clock BACK 1 hour
The 1st Sunday in November - November 4, 2012 - 12:01am

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS STARTS
"Spring Forward" - set your clock AHEAD 1 hour
The 2nd Sunday of March  -  March 10, 2013  -  12:01am
