U.S. CONGRESSIONAL REFORM ACT - IMPORTANT to Read & SHARE!!!

THIS is what I've been waiting for - it's time is LONG OVERDUE!!  It's  TIME TO CHANGE the benefits for CONGRESS MEMBERS - what's good for the gander is EQUALLY as good for the goose - the Winds of Change are a brewing!!! . . . .

Warren Buffet is asking each of us to forward this email to a minimum of 20 people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.  In 3 days, most people in the United States will have this message.  This is one idea that REALLY should be passed around.

*CONGRESSIONAL REFORM ACT of 2013

1. No Tenure • No Pension. ALL Congress members collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.

2. Congress members (past, present and future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress members can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress members will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress members lose their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress members must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congress members are void effective 12/31/13. The American people did not make this contract with Congress members.
Congress members made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an HONOR - NOT a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.


(I'd also add a note that for every day they do not deliver a Balanced Budget and/or that the government is shut down - THEY do NOT get PAID -  PLUS start FINING them for each day it goes on [since it's their games that are COSTING the American people MILLIONS of THEIR $s EACH DAY!!])


If each of us contacts a minimum of 20 people then it will only take 3 days for most people (in the U.S.) to receive the message.
(Now - I'm trying to find out what more we do other than just sharin' this - where we sign, etc. As SOON as I find out, I'll post it here and PLEASE DO IT!!!!)
