I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

MOVING COMPANY WITHIN Costa Rica (one of my FAVS!!)

Here's the story on MOVERS I've used a few times for moving my things, things from some charity garage sales, and who I have recommended to LEAST 20+ people who all have shared REALLY positive experiences as well.  I've found them to be an EXCELLENT MOVING COMPANY for moves WITHIN Costa Rica!!!

MY STORY: They first moved me May 27, 2006 from Pozos de Santa Ana to Escazu (on Calle Vieja near Calle Country Club [a fairly straight/easy drive and all on one level]) and they were EXCELLENT!!!

First off, AMAZINGLY, they showed up 30 minutes EARLY (and of course I was not ready and even MY other helpers were not there yet).

They said they would have 4 guys and SIX showed up (ALL hard workers)!

They did an EXCELLENT fast yet CONSCIOUS job, NOTHING broken, NOTHING missing.
They had a large 24 foot enclosed truck (ESPECIALLY important during Rainy Season) fully equipped with dolly's, a ramp, blankets, etc. to protect my stuff and it initially was under 100,000 colons (we ended up having to do a second load as I had bought a bunch more things since getting the initial quote - like beds, plants, etc.  Remember - this was 6 years ago on the price!!).

They are LEGAL and insured (novel concept I am hearing).

THEIR FLEET•TRUCKS
•    Ton - 2.5.  Length - 3.26 meter = 10' 9".  Width - 1.90 meters = 6' 3".  Height - 2.15 meters = 7' 1"
•    Ton - 3.5.  Length - 4.90 meter = 17'.  Width - 2.17 meters = 7' 2".  Height - 2.25 meters = 7' 5"
•    Ton - 8.  Length - 7.30 meters = 23' 12".  Width - 2.30 meters = 7' 7".  Height - 2.30 meters = 7' 7"
•    Ton - 7.  Length - 7.91 meter = 25' 12".  Width - 2.37 meters = 7' 10".  Height - 2.52 meters = 8' 4"

I hope you have at least (or EVEN BETTER) as great of an experience with them as I and MANY others did!!!
