I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

FURNITURE RENTAL


Furniture Rental isn't really done much in Costa Rica.  Here are a couple resources we've found so far (do you know of any?  Please share if/when you find it!!).

The "Emergency Kit" is a special package that includes all items necessary at home, such as furniture, appliances, bed linens, towels and all household goods for a family of 4 or more. It includes transportation, packing/ unpacking and counselor assistance.  Instead of having to stay at a hotel, expats can move into their new home totally furnished while they wait for their own items to clear customs. This will cut such costs as staying at a hotel, leasing contract penalties, etc. The ideal solution for companies as well as for their employees and their families.  contact Lorena.
