Go down a small staircase from the main landing at the main entrance is the Lower Level with the open floor plan which includes the Living and Dining Room and Kitchen.

Up the stairs from the office is the upper landing before you enter into the Master Bedroom. The landing is directly under the atrium and is spot #1 for indoor reading. A couple of comfortable chairs and a side table go nicely here.
BEDROOM #1: Perfect for a child, this 10 meter room is the smallest bedroom. It has a wonderful view of the lush landscaping and green mountains behind the house. It has an open closet organizer along one wall and a large ceiling fan. It is currently painted in a light rose color (my daughters choice). LOCATED: On the main level.
BEDROOM #2: This 12-13 meter room has a very large enclosed closet also has a large ceiling fan and is my eldest daughters favorite color, light green. It faces the front of the house with a nice tree and hummingbird feeder outside the window. LOCATED: On the main level.

Master Bedroom - On the uppermost level is the Master bedrrom. It is 22+ meters in size and well appointed. Perhaps the most interesting feature is the jacuzzi located on the North side of the home with 180 degree views to the Ocean, Heredia, and San Jose! The Master closet is a large walk in with nice teak built ins and a new closet organiser set for even more added space. the ceilings insode the closet like the bedroom are tall so overhead storage is plentiful as well. The ceiling is a-frame so they are tall and airy with lost of natureal light from all sides. The serene family-oriented community of Quintas Lomas with 12 private residences in the hills of Brasil de Mora between Santa Ana and Ciudad Colon. It is very quiet - no rumbling trucks, car alarms, buses etc. The Condo Association is casual but well organized. The monthly fees are 70,000 colones (around $140-ish) a month which pays for the 24-hour guards at the bottom and the grounds maintenance. The guards receive packages, mail and deliveries in you absence and really screen all who desire to enter. The guards are armed and have telephones.
o you get to have easy access to Lindora without having to live there! There is no traffic here ever. The roof is new and the home does not leak anywhere. We installed a triple stage water filtration sytem including UV as well as a German Pumping system and water tank. Despite this investment the water service is very good here and the water is clean.
Your new home is located about 20 minutes from San Jose in the Central Valley. Lindora/the Forum (the main business park) is about 10 minutes and to the North/East - MultiPlaza-Escazu - the largest mall in Costa Rica. CIMA - the most gringo-ized hospital in Costa Rica, Costa Rica's only iMax and VIP Movie theatre are all in the same area!! Just jump into your car and off you go to explore distant lands!!!!.
You're just 5 minutes to the start of the Auto "Pista"/highway Caldera del Sol - the new highway that now takes you more directly/faster to the Pacific coast!!! Because roads are as they are, this highway saves you about 1 hour and ends up at Caldera Beach. From the beginning of this Pista - Jaco Beach and Puntarenas are just about 1-1/2 hours, Quepos-2-1/2 hours and the popular Manuel Antonio is about 3 hours (all depending on traffic of course!!).

Home is roughly 210 meters of construction (could be much more but designed to be light and bright with 8 meter ceilings!) on roughly 1000 meters of property.
This bright and inviting home is nestled in a tranquil gated community with 24 hour security (who help with everything from receiving mail and packages to garbage, and they REALLY screen everybody at the gate and call you for permission).
With a car collector owner, the best garage was planned and started but work stopped due to the sale. The carport WAS being expanded into a fully enclosed garage to envelope up to 5 cars! The expensive framing work and design work are done but the final choices on how to complete are left to the new owners. This could be a huge workshop, artists studio or ??? If covered parking is all you want, the roof can go on in a few days and you are done and have a 5 car carport. Attached to the carport is the maids quarters. There is room for a sleeping nook but not much more and there is no bathroom. Alternatively it can be used for storage as we did. It has the washer and drier and service sink inside and was just painted and cleaned up. Above the carport is the observation deck. We had plans to use it for an exercise room with a canvas awning so we could run on the treadmill while looking West to the ocean. We also thought it would be a nice picnic area or reading spot. As a side note there is also ample street parking for several cars.
This home is well suited to the modern family. Nearly every room is run with dual phone lines and cable connections. The fastest Internet connection speeds are available with Amnet as well as the latest digital Cable TV. The home has 2 phone lines.
Cell phone reception is not good, but the new tower is going in shortly and should change that.
