I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

I have found Dr. Laura Ulloa to be a GOOD general doctor that TALKS and LISTENS to you.  

VISIT:  15,000

PAP:  18,000-27,000 (higher is with a monocap [????])

HOURS:  Mon.-Tues. - 9-11:30am and 3-5:30pm (except when she has surgeries) (I haven't updated this lately so this may have changed)

LANGUAGE:  Tico so Español is her 1st language but she speaks GOOD ENGLISH

LOCATION: Escazu (Centro) - On the street that runs South/up the hill behind the catholic church - in that little office building directly across the street from the BACK of the church


She also does
AESTHETIC MEDICINE:

Botox:  $450/50cu, $700/100cu 
(for face work you need at least 50cu so it's more affordable if you can find someone and share the 100cu bottle with)

Perfecta - Restylane (hialuronic acid) - a Natural product for face fill and lip fill-ins, cheeks, etc.,
it lasts 14 months and is $450.

Weight Control:  nutritional diet, medication.
