I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

WHEN:  SATURDAY•SABADO - MAYO 19, 2012  -  8am

WHERE•SALIDA:  ESCAZU (San Antonio) - frente al Escuela Juan XXIII • In front of Juan XXIII School


Es una actividad realizada enteramente con el trabajo voluntario de alrededor de 200 personas y el patrocinio de empresas amigas del ambiente.
It is an activity entirely with volunteer labor of about 200 people and sponsoring environmental friendly companies.


La carrera es para ayudar a la asociación ecológica CODECE para continuar con la protección de los cerros de Escazú.
The race is to help the ecological association CODECE to continue the protection of the hills of Escazú.

Meta: mismo lugar de inicio
Goal: same starting place


DISTANCIA DEL RECORRIDO: 21km de extrema dificultad (Si no llegan al Puesto de La Uruca a las 10:00am, no se podrá continuar con la carrera porque de allí en adelante vienen las partes más duras y la organización de la carrera no podría responsabilizarse por la seguridad de la persona).
DISTANCE: 21km extremely difficult (if not go to the post of La Uruca at 10:00 am, we can not continue with the race because thereafter are the hardest parts and organizing race could not take responsibility for the safety of the person).
