I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

BIRD LOVERS FESTIVAL in Costa Rica - Festival Ornitológico Del Bosque Lluvioso Sarapiquí 2013 - September 20-22

Description:
Del 20 al 22 de de Setiembre de 2013 se desarrollará en Sarapiquí el Primer Festival Ornitológico y del Bosque Lluvioso. Dirigido a la comunidad ornitológica nacional, estudiantes, científicos y todas las personas amantes de las aves en general de Costa Rica.

Habrá charlas, ponencias, presentaciones, giras de campo y un foro, así como actividades de intercambio con la comunidad.

Para el Festival se cuenta con paquetes para los participantes que requieran hospedaje y los servicios de alimentación en Selva Verde Lodge.

Pronto se dará a conocer el itinerario de las actividades, expositores y giras de campo.

Description:
From 20 to 22 September 2013 will be held at the First Festival Sarapiqui Rainforest Ornithological and. Aimed at the national ornithological community, students, scientists and all those bird lovers in Costa Rica general.

There will be talks, lectures, presentations, field trips and a forum and exchange activities with the community.

For the Festival has packages for participants who need accommodation and food services at Selva Verde Lodge.

Soon they will release the schedule of activities, speakers and field trips.
