I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

CASTRACIONES
DE PERROS Y GATOS (HEMBRAS Y MACHOS)
(Para reducir el maltrato y abandono de los animales)

DONDE:     PALO SECO
CUANDO:  Domingo - 18 de Marzo - a partir de las 9 a.m.
LUGAR:     Escuela de Palo Seco
COSTO:     2,000-¢ 

• La operación es realizada por un veterinario
• Evita problemas de salud
• Las hembras dejan de tener celo y no vuelven a tener crías
• Se pueden operar las hembras recién saltadas o en celo

INSTRUCCIONES:
1. Llevar al animal en ayunas (sin comida ni bebida despues de la cena la noche anterior).
2. Perros y gatos (hembras y machos) mayores de 4 meses.
3. Llevar cobija o paño para el animal después de la cirugía.

INSTRUCTIONS: 
1. Make sure the animal has been fasting (no food or drink after dinner the night before).
2. Dogs and cats (females and males) older than 4 months.
3. Bring a blanket or cloth for the animal after surgery.
