I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

Since this blog is a labor of love & RARELY does anyone share a donation (even though MANY have said how much it's helped them), I could REALLY use help updating info. Necessitamos Interpreters Voluntarios - Marzo 29-30 - Clinica de Ojos - FUNDACION NINOS SIN FRONTERAS


Necessitamos INTERPRETERS VOLUNTARIOS  •  We need VOLUNTEER INTERPRETERS!

Reciba un cordial saludo de parte de la FUNDACION NINOS SIN FRONTERAS!
Tenemos el privilegio recibir 10 optometristas de los EEUU quien van a estar regalando más de 500 anteojos a gente que más necesitan. Estamos buscando personas que pueden hacer interpretaciones para ellos durante las examenes (Ingles-Español) las siguientes fechas.

Greetings from CHILDREN WITHOUT BORDERS FOUNDATION!
We have the honor of hosting 10 optometrists from the United States who will be giving away eye glasses to people in need. We are looking for people who can interpret for them during the eye exams (English-Spanish) the following dates.


JUEVES - 29 de Marzo / THURSDAY - March 29  –  León XIII 
(circa de / close to La Uruca)
8am - noon  -  4 espacios / people needed
1-5pm  -  12 espacios / people needed


VIERNES - 30 de Marzo  /  FRIDAY - March 30  –  Los Anonos 
(entre / between Escazu and San Jose)
8am - noon  -  4 espacios / people needed
1-5pm  -  12 espacios / people needed

(brindamos un almuerzo para voluntarios que queda para todo el dia  
We offer lunch to volunteers staying the whole day)
