I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

Charity Help Needed - Costa Rica Humanitarian Foundation

Gail Nystrom (to me Ms Volunteer Costa Rica - she's AMAZING with ALL the work she does helping some of the poorest of the poor people in Costa Rica [especially in La Carpio]) with her

Is REALLY in need of some financial assistance right now for the GREAT work they're doing.  September to January are their slowest times of the year (when there are fewer volunteers coming with various volunteer project) and she needs at LEAST $1,200 a WEEK for to keep their IMPORTANT projects going - especially

Does anyone else know of any Fundraising type sites where it's easy for people around the world to donate to a charity or project (other than Paypal which I don't believe is easy for foreign charities to join)???
