I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

There will be stalls selling the most delicious food and drinks, and cute crafts, both products produced by neighboring Escazú Canton

SATURDAY - March 12, 20122
Noon  -  Atronadoras bomblets announced that the activities have been initiated
3pm  -  Masquerades roam the streets of the community accompanied by the cheerful music of Maroon.
6pm  -  Mass in honor Boyeros deaths.
7pm  -  Mass peasant
8pm  -  International Folklore Festival ITZ-KAT-ZU  (see http://LivingLifeInCostaRica.blogspot.com/2011/03/festival-ide-folkore-itz-kat-zu-escazu.html
10pm  -  Grand fireworks and costumes enlivened by Maroon


SUNDAY - March 13
5am  -  Traditional target glad the awakening of the community residents
9am  -  Folk music
10am  -  Boyeros/OXCART Parade starting from the Municipality of Escazú bound for San Antonio.
Noon  -  Premiación.entre los boyeros participantes 
2pm  -  Again, the costumes will delight young and old through the streets of the town.
3pm  -  Great popular outdoor dance enlivened by Marimba Espíritu Tico. 
7pm  -  Fireworks announced that the activities have been completed
