Insecurity, lack of employment and drug trafficking are major problems citizens

The perception of insecurity does not let up, to the point that Costa Rican's continue placing violence as the main problem afflicting the country, followed by the lack of work and the trafficking and consumption of drugs.
Other ills of citizens, according to Gallup poll CRHoy.com CID, are lack of government leadership, corruption, cost of living and poor roads. This scenario is similar to a picture of the past, however, these issues are only present in the minds of the Ticos, and despite holding government speech being made works, people interviewed did not seem to agree. The population welcomed the country's socio-economic direction and, more troubling, most feel that everything gets worse instead of better. While Costa Ricans say insecurity as it currently looks worse, concern has risen more since January is the lack of jobs.

Few, but some liberationists, believe that crime decreases
The survey of 21 to 30 September this year, indicates that three in five respondents believe that crime is increasing in the country. This way of thinking is more common among those in households where someone has been robbed in the past four months and over 40 years the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM).An important point is that there is an 8% of the population believe that crime is going down and to the study, these families would liberationists, whose economic situation has improved compared to the previous year. The perception is that crime is a major problem, but think about this now are 6 in 10 ticos, in September last year, were almost 8 out of 10.

One person assaulted by every 5 households
In one out of five Costa Rican households live at least one person who has been assaulted or robbed since May this year. The survey shows that most women who, in the opinion of the respondents, were the Victims of Human antisocial. An interesting fact is that 50% of respondents, who were victims of crime, told CID Gallup reported that the complaint before the judicial authorities. The answer to the question why they did not, was, "as they do nothing." The percentage of households affected inhabited since May rose again after having had a slight drop.

Household income is not enough
The survey, which was applied to 1224 Costa Rican household adults, random sample and a standard error of 2.8% shows that internally in families, income is not enough to cover expenses. "This tends to be most commonly cited by residents of GAM, and people opposed to the National Liberation Party, homemakers, responsible for family finances and between 30 and 40 years of age," the study reveals. The uncertainty regarding employment opportunities for the children is also present, as well as unemployment of someone at home, what occurs especially in less educated groups.
