There IS a God/Goddess (not that I've questioned it)!!
I've had 2 regular checking accounts with Bank of America in the states for 20+ years and with having to pay $5 EACH time I pull $$ out of the atm for 7-1/2 years, etc. I've given them LOTS of $$$ (I keep them because there are LOTS of them around the U.S. which makes it easier if someone wants to pay me - but I haven't used these accounts in AGES - just want to keep them - JUST IN CASE).

So I called them today to see if there was ANY way to get my Monthly Fees reduced at all (I've been paying $12 on my personal account and $16 on my business account ALL these years since I don't really keep $$ in that account [so I don't qualify for a free account for having thousands of $$s in it]) and the guy I got - Tim - was AWESOME!!!
Not only did he give me 3 months REFUND on my personal account and 2 on my business account - BUT - he also WAVED my monthly fees till August on BOTH accounts!!! (I didn't push it on future fees - I'll call in July about that!!)

So do YOU live abroad and bank with Bank of America and or don't use them much??? Hey - even if your account IS still active - it can't hurt to see if they'll reduce your monthly fees!!!! (maybe they're doing this because of all the negative publicity they're getting. FYI - I'm not dropping them as I NEED to look at the BIG picture of EASE for me and anyone that wishes to get money to me so no need to ream me about it!).
