Everyone is invited to come and honor the brave men and women who sacrificed themselves so that we could reap the rewards of democracy and freedom.

4th Annual Memorial Day PICNIC
at Villa Amira in Santa Ana
(ON Calle Vieja [the Old Road] from Escazu to Santa Ana - a quinta next to the gas station at the entrance of Santa Ana)
The picnic is a real old fashion nostalgic authentic picnic just like you remember having back home!
There are Grilled 1/2 pound hamburgers and extra long hot dogs along with potato salad and chili.
Of course all the toppings are included along with back home condiments you really like such as Heinz ketchup, French's mustard, Hellmann's mayo, etc.
There is a cash bar for beverages.
It's FUN for the WHOLE family with a swimming pool, kids play area, open-air Rancho and music all day.
Much of the area IS Wheel-Chair/Handicap Accessible

MONEY RAISED GOES FOR:
The best part of this is that your support enables the post to support local charities. The entire profits from last year's picnic were donated to charity. Among those charities were Las Damas Voluntarios of Escazu who they joined hands with to fund scholarships to send deserving qualified youngsters whose parents lacked the financial ability to school. These scholarships included complete uniforms including shoes, school supplies, textbooks, tutoring and use of the computer lab.
