Finding taxi drivers willing to transport pets is not easy to do in Costa Rica.
Why? There are a few factors:
• Some people are allergic to pet hair so it's not real fair for them to have to go through that (BEING CONSIDERATE SOLUTION: If they're the type that leaves hair behind, PLEASE wrap your pet up in a towel or put them in a big bag or carrier).

• Some pets will pee in a strange•scary environment (same "BEING CONSIDERATE SOLUTION" as above).
• I've noticed that some Tico's are afraid of dogs especially. Why is that? Many have shared with me that they were at some point bit - especially by dogs (especially when they were young) - so that's a legitimate fear. (see the "BEING CONSIDERATE SOLUTIONS" above but also, do you have a muzzle you can put on??).
So I'm slowly creating a list of taxi drivers (both legal insured red taxi's & pirata•Pirate taxis since this list is limited).
