I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

This is the ONLY VIP Lounge at
SJO-Juan SantaMaria Airport
and it’s NICE!!!

WHO CAN ENJOY THIS SPACE FOR FREE:  
It’s reserved for Premium Frequent Flier members that are Business•1st Class passengers of select Airlines (and their alliances): 
AeroMexico, Condor, Copa (Star Aliance - Gold members), U.S. Airways, Air Canada, Avianca/TACA, United - Gold Members.
TRAVEL COMPANIES:  
Turhokeanos. 
BANK CARD HOLDERS: 
Platinum or Premier card holders  -  BCR, BCT, Davivienda [formerly HSBC], Improsa, Promerica, LaFese, Scotia.
MasterCard Black holders
INS Medical card holders
 (something about a special card where you pay an annual fee).
OR
anyone can PAY for a Day Pass.


WHAT’S INCLUDED: 
FREE - WiFi, use of computers, FREE LOCAL CALLS, workstations, magazines, newspapers.

VICKI'S EXPERIENCE AT THE VIP LOUNGE!!I FINALLY got to experience this wonderful lounge May 2014 and it's a chic as the pictures show and I'd even say WELL WORTH the $30 investment for a Day Pass if you have a few hours between flights!!!
