Why: WILPF works to seek solutions for a lasting peace. WILPF was created in 1915 to protest against WWI in The Hague, Netherlands. Their first international president, Jane Addams, became the first U.S. woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Their work is as current as their support for Pakistani's 14 year old, Malala Yousafzai.
